I was reviewing this, but I'm not sure why the watch file points somewhere and
the README indicates somewhere else as upstream


Can you explain?

Consider that even if sponsored a package with unclear provenence/license is
unlikely to be accepted into the archive.

wfrench had no upstream since at least Nicolas Sabouret's debian
version back in 2003. 


I took over maintainance and add words since 2018 at gitlab.com, hence
the upstream in `watch` and the reference to its origin in README.

I had a 2nd look

The homepage in the control file should point to the homepage of the project,
which should be the same as what watch is watching
 that doesn't seem to be
the case.

Also there is no mention of changing upstream in the changelog, just "new
upstream release", which isn't really what's happening here.

Also the copyright file was left not updated
 if it's a new upstream release
how can it have copyright of 1989?

All those fields should agree with each other
 the source field in the copyright
file doesn't agree with the salsa homepage

From there, I made a new release (1.2.9-1), and upload the new package
to mentors. Don't hesitate to comment !

Can you send the link to the .dsc file? I could not find it on the webpage, but
it's easier for me with the link directly in general.
